Canadian Working Visa

If you would like to work for us in Canada and you are not living in Canada and you are not a Canadian citizen you must apply for a temporay Canadian Work Visa.

To apply you must fill out an application form, work permit form IMM 1295. This is not complicated and can be done on line. Preliminary decisions on work permit applicationns are usually given the same day.

Company Overview

Vane Lawn and Garden Services LTD was started in 1979 by the owner Bert Vane. Our primary clients are institutional, commercial, and industrial. Our primary interest is in landscape maintenence and roadway mowing. We operate from Chilliwack to West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with the main core of our clients in Surrey and Burnaby area.

We employ 15 -18 workers in a given year and about half of our employees are employed during the growing season from the end of March to the end of October. Because of the seasonal nature of our business we are always interested in hiring dedicated seasonal workers who can work from the end of March to the end of October.

The type of work mostly involves operation of small equipment such as running of small to mid size, walk behind and ride on mowers, weedeaters etc. We also hire gardeners We work 40 hours per week. The starting pay is $12.00 to $17.00 per hour depending on experience and work habits. A drivers licence is required.
